Lavender Herbs and Oils

Lavender herbs and oil have many uses. One of the most important uses is aromatherapy. Aromatherapy has been proven for many years to improve your mood. It is also suggested to those who have anxiety and depression. According to the Cleveland Clinic, “Lavender is known for its ability to calm the nervous system, lift the mood, and even lower blood pressure,” says Dr. Lin. “Research links lavender usage to less anxiety and depression” (Cleveland Clinic, 2021).

Some other uses for Lavender are it reduces headache pain, inflammation, and menstrual cramps. A couple of drops on the hand to massage the temples to relieve headache, applied to the abdomen to help relieve menstrual cramping is a natural alternative to help relieve menstrual cramps.

Lastly, Lavender is also good for digestive issues. “Some studies suggest that consuming lavender as a tea can help digestive issues such as vomiting, nausea, intestinal gas, upset stomach, and abdominal swelling” (Nordqvist, 2019). One of the main reasons why I chose to use organic lavender herbs and oil in my products is because of all that I mentioned above and it’s my personal favorite herb. I’ve used it to improve my mood, reduce stress, and relieve pain. The candles have a great effect on mood changes. Aromatherapy has a long   history of uses, and those uses are still relevant today.
